Gaby Rides Again

Part 9

As they get to the hospital, they go to Drew's room and then lead him down to the car. They help him get comfortable, all the while he is still asleep.

"I'm surprised he's slept through this, Hun."

"He must really be tired then Dave" replies mom.

"Is he alright to lean against you in the back, Jules?”

"Yeah, no problems there Dad."

"Ok then, lets head home, I was not going to leave him there any longer, not with those idiots looking after him."

They get home, and Dave picks Drew up and carries him to his bed. As he lays Drew down, he is still fast asleep.

"How the hell does someone sleep through all this? He must be totally knackered," says Dave.

Dave goes back downstairs to the rest of his family and has a little discussion. They all come to the agreement, as before, to make Drew feel as comfortable as possible.

The next morning, they are all still in bed, when all of a sudden, there is a loud scream from Drew's room.

"What the bloody hell was that?" asks Dave.

"Honey, Drew must have woken up. I'll go see to him," says Jenny.

As Jenny goes into Drew's room, he is sat there with a slight scowl on his face looking around his room.

"Something the matter Hun?

"Yeah, you could say that. How did I end up here? Last thing I remember is falling asleep in the hospital bed."

"Well we decided it would be best you coming and recuperating at home," said Jenny not wanting to give the real reason he was back at home.

"But what about the rest I need, and the looking after?”

"We told them that if they need to check on anything, they have to come here and do it."

"Ok Mum. What's for breakfast?

"Oh you. Always thinking with your stomach aren't you?

"Yep, you know me Mum."

"Ok, give me twenty minutes and I will have something ready. Why don't you get ready and meet me downstairs."

"Ok Mum."

"Oh by the way, there is something for you in your top draw, call it a present."

With that, Jenny leaves Drew and goes downstairs to start making something to eat. As she passes the clock on the kitchen wall she sees it is only seven A.M. She realises that even though he was well out of it last night, she should have expected him to wake up early, but not this early. She put the thought out of her mind so that she could make Drew something to eat.

About five minutes later, a puzzled looking Drew walks sheepishly into the kitchen. Jenny sees him and he looks a bit confused.

"Something wrong, Hun?”

"Errr, yeah you could say that."

"Well are you going to tell me or am I going to have to play a guessing game?”

"Ermmmm, its this present you got me."

"Yes what about it?

"Ermm...hmmmm...errr... well, I...I..., well..."

"Come on, I don't know what the problem is unless you tell me."

"OK...how do you put one on right?”

"Is that all it is? Hold on, surely you know from dressing as Gaby?”

"Yeah course I do but, ermmm, how do I put this?”

"Put what?

"Well, usually I have padding and I put it in after I have the bra on. Well, err, I, err, seem to have a couple of extra things that are getting in the way."

"Oh, sorry Drew, I forgot. I guess you need to know how to put in on correctly then?”

"Yes please."

With that, Jenny proceeds to explain to Drew the best way to put a bra on. As she is showing Drew, Jules makes an appearance in the kitchen and laughs.

"I never thought I would see this, especially from my brother."

"What did we agree on, young lady?

"Sorry Mum. It was too good an opportunity. Sorry, Drew."

"Its ok Jules, I guess I am going to need your help for a bit."

"No probs bro, anytime just come in my bedroom."

"But what if you're getting dressed and are in your underwear?”

"I cannot see a problem. I mean we're all girls, right?"

As soon as Jules said that, she realised what she had just said aloud.

"JULIE BOND" says Jenny.

"Sorry I sort of forgot again, sorry Mum, sorry Drew."

"Look from the sound of things, you have all had a chat about me. I figure you are trying to save me from being hurt, BUT, well, we knew it was going to happen. And it has happened quicker than what I thought it would. I would prefer it if it was like normal, as if I was dressed as Gaby. It hurts worse when you act as if I am in-between. At least if you treat me as you would Gaby, then at least it would be half decent."

"Are you sure, Drew?" asks Mum.

"Yeah I'm sure. But please call me Drew if you can, and not Gaby."

They all agree to abide by Drew's wishes, as it seems as though he has thought this through, even though they might not agree with it. They decide to tell Dave when he finally gets up. After he gets up, they tell him what has been talked about and he agrees, but he also says that any tormenting is not going to happen, and if he finds out there will be hell to pay. After they have had some sort of breakfast, they all go into the dining room to tell Drew about Marianne. After he is told, he realises why Aunt Carol had treated him as she did that day when she took him shopping. Suddenly he feels sorry for his Aunt and Maddy and her Dad. All this happened years ago, but with this little new piece of information, his troubles seem to have been halved. He mentions this to his mum and she tells him that is what Carol said the previous night.

Jules drags Drew upstairs to see what clothes still fit him. She promises not to give him anything that is too girly, but does bring up his Gaby wardrobe.

"Bit of a problem there, Jules."

"Why?”

“Well, it seems I have a couple of extra things, that are a bit bigger than the padding I had before."

"Oh yeah you have. Well, we will still see if anything fits and see what we can do with them. Ok?”

"Ok Jules."

While Drew is sorting through his clothes, he doesn't realise the time and about an hour has passed. It is close to nine A.M., and downstairs, Maddy rushes into the kitchen after running through the front door and slamming it behind her.

"When do we go and visit Drew again, Mr Bond?”

"It may be a bit hard Maddy. There was a problem you see."

All of a sudden, Maddy goes quiet, expecting to hear the worst. Dave turns around with a wicked smile on his face.

"How about thirty seconds?”

"EH?" says Maddy.

"He's upstairs, we wen..." before Dave could finish Maddy was already up the stairs and running into Drew's room.

"She doesn't waste any time I see." replies Jenny.

"You know what she is like Hun. She loves him doesn't she?”

"Yes, she does, Dave. Let's just hope everything is the same. The last thing we want is for them two to break up now. I do not know what effect it would have on him."

"And what do you think your doing, going through Gaby's stuff without me here?”

Drew looks around and sees Maddy standing in the doorway to his bedroom. Before he can say anything Maddy dived at him.

"Owwwwwwww."

"What's wrong Drew?" asks Maddy.

"Well, their a bit tender, and that dive sorta got me a bit unaware."

"Sorry Drew. So what are you doing?”

"We're going through Gaby's things to see what still fits, after, well, you know."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. They are bigger than you are used to. How do they feel?”

"Pretty weird. Its like they are pulling all the time and it hurts."

"Well, now you know what we have to go through all the time."

"I can sympathise with you on that score. So now I'm sympathising with you on two things. First your... err, well, you know. And now the well, err, you know, the other things."

"Aww, come on Drew, you can call them breasts you know. And you have a pretty decent pair yourself. I just want to know one thing."

"What?

"Can I see them?

"I thought I'd shown you them?

"Yeah, well, that was in hospital. I wanna see them in your bra. Like the one you are wearing now."

"How did you know I was wearing a bra?”

"Come on Drew. A girl can tell there is a bra under those clothes you're wearing."

"Oh. I just hope it is not that noticeable. I mean I am going back to school in a week or so. I was hoping no one would notice."

"Well the boys won't. But they will wonder and the girls will definitely know."

"Shit."

"Language, Drew" said Jules.

"Sorry."

"Well, how about coming to my house later, and we will look at a few things?

"Sorry, Maddy. I'm house bound for three more days. Even though I am out of hospital, the doctor said I still had to stay indoors. I was hoping to get on my bike and the trainer later on."

"Ok. I'll bring something later. I'll go home now and get some things ready."

"Nothing too girly Maddy. You know that."

"As if I would Drew. Trust me."

Drew sits there, sees the grin on Maddy face, and wonders what he is letting himself in for. After a few minutes, Maddy says she is going to sort some things out, then gives Drew the biggest, longest kiss she ever has.

"WOW."

"Well, there's more where that comes from. See ya later."

With that, Maddy leaves and practically runs home for stuff for Gaby to wear. She realise she likes Drew a lot more now for some reason, but cannot understand why.

After another thirty minutes, they have worked their way though the clothes. They realize not that many need throwing out. But Drew decided to keep them, as he was sure he wasn't going to have these things stuck to his chest for too long. But he was stuck with them for the time being. After Jules leaves Drews room, he decides to have a go on the bike and trainer. He gets his skins out and tries to put them on.

"Mum" he calls out.

"Yes Drew?

"I need your help here for a minute."

"Coming."

As she gets up to Drews room, she realises what he wanted help with. She sees him half-way dressed in his skins and starts to chuckle.

"Sorry Drew, but it is a sight to see."

"I can't seem to get them on Mum."

"Why are you putting them on anyway?”

"I have not been on my bike for ages, and I wanted to setup the trainer and have a go in the garage."

"Well I will let you, but only for ten minutes ok? And only ten minutes but I would like to give you something first."

With that, Jenny goes to her room and brings out one of her spare team skins for Drew to wear.

"I can't wear that."

"Why not? I have to wear one."

"But it's yours, and its built for, well, you know."

"Yes I do know. And if you have forgot you have something extra now."

"Oh yes I forgot. Can you help me put it on?”

"Yes, then I will setup the trainer for you ok?”

"Ok Mum."

They eventually get the skin on, and they both go towards the garage. After they have set the bike up and the trainer, Drew gets on and starts very slowly. Jenny goes back in the kitchen to get some juice, and hears a strange noise coming from the garage.

"Oww, oww, oww, oww."

Jenny turns around and starts to go back to the garage when Drew appears in front of her.

"What wrong Drew? We usually can't get you off that thing."

"It's a bit hard."

"You haven't been away for that long, it cannot be that hard."

"Err no. that's not what I mean."

"Well then, what is it?

With that, she sees Drew rubbing at his chest. She suddenly realises what he is on about.

"Sorry I forgot Drew. There is another way to it, you know. I had to get used to it before, and I guess you do now. It may take longer as I developed where as you; well, it's a bit different."

"That's ok mum. Any help would be great."

"That's my boy. You wanna try it again then?”

"Yeah. I've been off it too long. I need to get fit again, and I have to get used to these" says Drew while pointing to his chest. "At least for the time being anyway. I am definitely having them removed as soon as I can."

"You never know Drew, you may get used to them, and then you won't want to get rid of them as you say."

"I seriously doubt that Mum. I seriously doubt that at all."
