What exactly happened to the students and faculty of Augusta High School, Bigg's Manufacturing and Erin's Cyclery after Drew and his friends went back home to Warsop at the end of the Cultural Exchange Program? This story will attempt to answer those questions.

Sandy came in smiling and accepted a glass of ice cold tea from her mother, "Daddy and I are through with the cars."

"Where's John?"

He's taking the car to get gas and groceries for a grill, tonight."

"He must feel pretty good to want to grill," Mrs. Jones giggled.

"Well, it is Saturday and basketball season is under way."

"Is Daddy still rooting for the Hawks?" asked Kevin.

"Either them or the Harlem Globetrotters," answered  Mrs. Jones.

"I'm going up to get ready for work," announced Sandy as she placed the empty glass in the sink.

She quickly got out the blouse, skirt lingerie and hose and put them on her bed, then stripped off everything and stepped into her shower.

After an invigorating shower, she donned her uniform, remembering how it felt the first time that she wore her uniform. She had just started on her transition and still wore breastforms and the original gaffe wishing for a more feminine body.

As the hormones worked their magic, Sandy was soon wearing the smaller breastforms as her young body responded to the treatment until she was a 34 "C" cup, like her mother and her penis was only a flaccid bit useful only for peeing.

Her endocrinologist told her that for all intents and purposes that she was female as her body was producing it's own hormones at a very low level in response to the medication.

He then set her on a schedule for breast cancer screening that told her what she feared the most as a woman, the possibility of losing er breasts.

When Sandy told her family about her decision to become a girl, her dad didn't like it, but now he saw her as his princess and her mother told her about what being a woman meant medically speaking.

Sandy was lucky in one very important way, like her parents, her family history showed almost no incidents of cancer of the breast. Only lung cancer showed up in those who smoked or chewed tobacco.

As she came down the stairs, her dad parked the station wagon and started to get the groceries out.

"Let me help, Daddy," she said as she reached him.

"That's OK, Princess. I've got everything."

"OK, Daddy. be sure to save me something," she pleaded as she kissed him.

"A burger, bratwurst, or Italian?"

"The sausages," she replied as she got into her beetle and drove off.

At Jack's Diner, Brit and Deb were able to handle the customers, most of whom had a bit of sympathy for them being new to the job, even the students who knew why they were there.

Aidan had spoken to his friends and got them to promise to take it easy on the girls, at least until they got the hang of the job, but he truly wanted to let the incident die away as Drew was not the vengeful type.

Miss C came in for lunch and when the girls saw her, they began to panic. She'd been one of the teachers who went with the students to Warsop and knew about Drew and their attempts to keep him dressed as Gaby while there and their machinations that led to his being Gaby while the students from Warsop were in Grottoes.

"Hello, girls. I se that you are working, today. Where are Sandy or Daisy?"

"Daisy went home, still being tired and Sandy should be here for lunch, Miss C," replied a nervous Brit.

"At ease, you two. Now that you two are paying for what you did to Drew, it's time to stop being angry."

"I know that we went overboard with Drew and deserve our punishment, but what about any students who want to cause us trouble? They can get us fired, if they choose."

"Brit, That will not happen to you two."

"Why not? All they have to do is complain to Jack," sighed Deb.

"Because Jack and J.J. won't fire you unless you two do something, not because of complaints when there are video camera set up," offered Sandy as she came in.

"Exactly, Sandy. And if they try to cause trouble, they'll be subject to their own punishment," said Miss C.

The girls hugged Sandy, "Thanks, Sandy. We've been worried something fierce," cried Brit.

"Yeah, we woulda been in trouble if that happened to us," added Deb.

"OK. You two go to the back for your break. Once Daisy Mae is here, you two can leave."

"But we've yet to take Mrs. C's order," exclaimed Deb.

"I'll have a diet soda and the chicken finger dinner with ranch dressing."

"Go on, you two and fill her order," admonished Sandy.

The Walters' girls rushed off and soon Brit brought back a glass of diet soda and put it on a coaster for Mrs. C, followed by Deb who set a salad and silverware as well as a bottle of dressing before her.

Sandy smiled as she remembered her first few day as a waitress and how Gloria Sinclair had taught her everything about being a waitress before she retired to raise her newborn.

Gloria had married Robert Sinclair who had become a very successful family doctor with his office in a converted garage next to the family home down the road from Augusta High School.

After getting pregnant, Gloria agreed to keep working until a Jack could hire more waitresses to replace her. Then Daisy Mae and Sandy both applied and she trained both so that Jack wouldn't have to rely upon unskilled day labor for employees.

Sandy secretly hoped that Brit and Deb would come to like working here as she did because she knew that Jack for all of his gruffness was really a teddy bear at heart.

J.J. came in from the kitchen leading a pair of Asian girls dressed in red coveralls and a red apron heading to Sandy, "Sandy, meet Doris and Deanna Ohara. They will be working with me on the catering truck."

"But I thought that I'd be working with you on the truck."

"You will, Sandy. But we need them here as waitresses with you and Daisy Mae. And with the Walters' girls, we'll have plenty of waitresses, at least for awhile."

One of the twins stepped forward, "Miss Sandy, Doris and I are both want to be caterers like our parents were before they retired last year."

"Then why work for Jack when you could start you own business?"

"Our parents used the money from selling the business to pay off the mortgage on the house and medical bills. All that is left is the truck;s grill." replied Deanna.

"If I know Jack and J.J. they'll want to use the grill, unless your family uses it."

"We already have a grill set up in the back yard. Our parents are wanting to sell it," replied Deanna.

"Have you talked to them about it?"

"No, we didn't want to jinx our employment," added Doris.

"OK, I can understand that. What if I told them for you?"

"Are you sure about that?" asked Deanna.

"We don't want to be any trouble," replied Doris.

"Don't you two worry. OK?"

"OK," they chorused.

Sandy headed to the back where J.J. had sauntered off to after delivering the twins.

"J.J., are you still looking for a grill for the catering sideline?"

"Yep. got one lined up from GROTTOES HARDWARE but they don't have the model that I want," he sighed.

"Well, I think that I know where you can get a used one that was used by another catering business."

"The twin's parents?"

"Exactly."

"Good. What else do they have?"

"According to the twins, just the grill."

"Then I'll need to see this grill for myself to see if it's the one that I want. But why did they not say anything to me?"

"They are afraid that telling you would interfere with getting hired."

"Well, that might be true of some places, but not here."

"I know. Who's minding the kitchen?"

"Dad is, but with the lunch crowd, he'll need someone to tend to the till and keep the coffee and tea going."

"Then, I guess that I'll do that," replied Sandy as she left
