Drew got onto his aluminium 'Cannondale' race bike. The red paint with it's yellow decals shone in the sunlight after the extensive polishing session. He clicked his 'Carnac lite' shoes into the silver 'Look' pedals, checked the rotation and set off. Clicking through the nine sprockets with the 'Campagnolo Mirage Ergo levers', his 'Schwalbe Stelvio Evolutions' were soon hissing along the tarmac, the 160psi pressure giving no respite from the imperfections of the surface.

Drew got on his race bike, clicked into the pedals and was soon listening to the hum of tyre on tarmac.
